Rhosyn Saron teca'i ddawn

Rhosyn Saron teca'i ddawn,
Seren foreu, ddysglaer iawn,
  Sydd yn arwain hyfryd wawr
  Trwy'r anialwch dyrys mawr -
Yn goleuo'r llwybr maith
Tua'r wlad o fêl a llaeth;

Tyr'd o'm blaen drwy'r dywell nos
Dwg fi dros bob anial ffos;
  Dal fi'r lan, O n'âd fi lawr,
  Serth yw'r graig, mae'r cwmp yn fawr;
'Nol fy nghlwyfo, 'does iachad
Ond yn unig yn dy wa'd.

Danfon imi'r olew gwir,
Ysbryd y llawenydd pur;
  Dangos dy fod im' yn Dduw,
  Gwella'r esgyrn wnest yn friw;
Prawf o'th hedd rho im' ar frys,
Ffrwythau'th waed,
    a frwythau'th chwys.

Mae 'nghydwybod foreu a nawn,
Yn fy marnu'n euog iawn;
  Gwaeddi y mae'r ddeddf yn hy,
  Na faddeuwyd i mi fry;
O cyhoedda'r tawel hedd,
Iesu, 'rochr yma i'r bedd.

gwelir: Ti dy hunan Iesu mawr

The Rose of Sharon of the fairest gift,
The morning Star, very radiant,
  Is leading a delightful dawn
  Through the great, troublesome desert -
Lighting the long path
Towards the land of honey and milk;

Come before me through the dark night,
Led me across every desert trench;
  Hold me up, O do not let me down,
  Steep is the rock, the drop is great;
After my being wounded, there is no healing
Except alone in thy blood.

Send to me the true oil,
The Spirit of true joy;
  Show that thou art God to me,
  Heal the bones thou didst bruise;
An experience of thy peace give to me quickly,
The fruits of thy blood,
    and the fruits of thy sweat.

My conscience morning and afternoon, is
Judging me very guilty;
  The law is shouting boldly,
  That I am not forgiven above;
O announce the quiet peace,
Jesus, this side of the grave!
